​Professional Entertainer, Educator, Producer, and CEO of AEB Productions, Tony Barton was born in the Chicago area. This powerful performer has been entertaining audiences since he learned to tie his shoes. Tony's vocal command and versatility enables him to successfully work in multiple genres including Opera, Musical Theater, Pop, Country, Rock and Jazz.

 

He received his Bachelors of Music Education from Illinois State University in Bloomington, Normal. He also received an Masters of Music degree in Voice Performance from the University of Las Vegas in Nevada.

 

Tony's versatile acting and singing styles enable him to play a wide range of characters and leading-man roles. Some of his most memorable theater roles include: Mark in Rent, Father in the Chicago premier of Ragtime, and Hank Williams in Hank Williams: Lost Highway. Opera roles include: Figaro in both The Barber of Siville and The Marriage of Figaro. He received a fierce standing ovation for his performance of Papageno in Mozart's Magic Flute. In 2003 Tony played "Blue" in the off-Broadway company of Blueman Group.

    

Throughout his career, Tony has shared the stage with artists such as B.B. King, Barbara Streisand, Michael W. Smith, R. Kelly and opera legend Sheryll Milnes.

   

Tony has written, produced and stars in four productions including  BLUE EYES TOO, a tribute show dedicated to the life and music made famous by Frank Sinatra, SHARP DRESSED MAN a show that gets you moving, JINGLE, the perfect Christmas Gift, and RING OF FIRE, a tribute to Johnny Cash and June Carter. These successful shows continue to garner rave reviews wherever they play.
